Having most of the relevant keywords monitored is essential for accurately measuring the SEO performance of a website. You can easily and comprehensively do that in SEOmonitor.
When you add a new campaign, you have the option to request an automatic keyword research. The platform will then pull keywords from your Google Search Console and from our own database, then select the ones that are relevant and add them to your portfolio.
You can also request the automatic keyword research at any later time, in the Research >> Keywords module. The keywords would be added to a new group, called "SEO Opportunities yyyy-mm-dd".
If you already have your own keyword list to be tracked, you can import them directly through the same screen or in the SEO Campaign module:

Otherwise, the main way to manually add keywords is to type them in the analysis box in the Research >> Keywords module:
You can also use our keyword suggestions (to the right) and analyze and start tracking keywords from there.
Apart from the automatic research, the *.csv import, and the manual addition (all across the platform), you will constantly see suggestions for enriching your portfolio. Here are a few tips on where to find these keyword suggestions and how to start tracking them:
1. The Topic Explorer
The Topic Explorer is available in the Research >> Topics module, or directly on topics.seomonitor.com. Although its main function is to analyze topics as groups of semantically connected keywords, it can also be a great tool for keyword research. After typing in a topic ("sports shoes", for example), you will be shown a multitude of relevant suggestions and some of them might even surprise you:

2. Search Trends After Covid-19
Search Trends is available in the Research >> Trends module, or directly on trends.seomonitor.com.
It's a free tool for SEO agencies to quickly understand market trends using our Year-over-Year data because radical shifts in demand called for new data sets to analyze.
Besides searching for a topic, you can search by niche (website) or one of the 13 industries we analyzed.
3. Competitors' keywords
In the Competition Insights module, you can get keyword suggestions by "having a peek" into your competitors' keywords.
For each of your competitors, you can see a full list of the non-branded keywords they rank for:

4. The Organic Traffic module
Another way to enrich your portfolio is through the keywords that are already generating organic visits. We extract all of these keywords from your Google Search Console and match them with the traffic data from Analytics, using our not-provided segmentation algorithm.
