Redesigned Strategy View
The Strategy tab is now the primary landing view of Rank Tracker. We’ve simplified the navigation by consolidating data that previously lived in separate tabs:
The “Edit” tab has been removed. Keyword editing is now accessible directly through the redesigned “+” button in the Strategy view.
The “Analysis” tab has been removed. Traffic data from Analysis and AI Search data are now integrated directly into the Strategy tab’s chart and table.
Opportunities column in the keyword table now includes data previously found under Analysis.
Why this matters: Fewer tabs, fewer clicks — everything you need for daily SEO performance work is now in one place.
The LLM Switcher — Track Multiple AI Models at Once
You can now switch between AI Search models directly from the Rank Tracker header using the new LLM Switcher, located next to the Signals and Help icons.
How it looks
The switcher displays icons for each supported model:
ChatGPT
Gemini
Perplexity
Active (purchased) LLMs appear in full colour. Unpurchased LLMs appear greyed out — click on one to open the purchase modal.
How data switches
Selecting a different LLM in the switcher instantly updates all data across the interface. There’s no page reload — everything refreshes in place:
Component | What updates |
Scorecards | Metrics refresh to show AI Search data for the selected LLM |
Charts | Trend lines, percentages, and data points update per selected LLM |
Keyword table | The “Cited” column header and data switch to show results for the selected LLM |
Competition tab | Competitor performance, trends, and Share of Voice update for the selected LLM |
Processing status (top bar) | Shows processing status for the currently selected LLM |
Processing status (footer) | Shows total keywords pending across all active LLMs |
Note: ChatGPT is selected by default. The switcher remembers your last selection for subsequent sessions.
Redesigned Chart Selectors — Desktop vs. Mobile Comparison
The Rank Tracker chart now features 3 selectors that let you compare Google Visibility with AI Overview and AI Search metrics side by side — on both Desktop and Mobile.
Default behaviour
When you switch between Desktop and Mobile mode in the menu, the selectors update automatically:
Desktop mode: Selector 1 = Organic Visibility Desktop, Selector 2 = AI Overview Mentioned Desktop, Selector 3 = AI Search Mentioned % (or % Clicks if no LLM is enabled).
Mobile mode: Selector 1 = Organic Visibility Mobile, Selector 2 = AI Overview Mentioned Mobile, Selector 3 = AI Search Mentioned % (or % Clicks if no LLM is enabled).
Tip: Your selector choices are sticky — they persist across groups and campaigns during your session and only reset when you start a new session.
Explore Top Competitors — New Competition Sidebar
A new “Explore top competitors” button has been added to the Competition tab — look for the purple button with an eye icon.
What it does
Clicking the button opens a sidebar panel that reveals competitors discovered by SEOmonitor across your tracked keywords. This makes it easy to find and add new competitors without leaving the Competition view.
Sidebar features
Three tabs: Google, AI Overview, and AI Search — explore competitors across each channel.
Competitor list: Each entry shows the competitor’s domain and Visibility percentage.
Quick add: Click the “+” button next to any competitor to add them to your tracked list instantly.
Search: Use the built-in search box to look up specific competitor domains.
LLM-aware data: The “Cited” metric in the sidebar reflects data for the AI model currently selected in the LLM Switcher.
Note: The AI Search tab in the sidebar requires at least one LLM to be enabled. If no LLM is active, the AI Search tab is disabled.

LLM Switcher | New header component to toggle between ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity |
