[FAQ]Why do you sometimes see a different number of clicks compared to GSC when selecting a longer timeframe?

For a longer timeframe, there are fewer clicks on SEOmonitor's Traffic module than GSC clicks.

We do daily distribution by matching the organic traffic and keyword data using the landing pages as common denominators to distribute the traffic data back into keywords. So, when you check the daily clicks, they should correspond to the ones in GSC. When you select a longer timeframe, there are some clicks that will get excluded from the total in SEOmonitor, as they have no or very few impressions. For one day's worth of traffic, they are important, but for a longer timeframe, some are insignificant.

Even in GSC, you always have "missing" data, when you refine it by query or landing page.

There's no way for us to know which ones will be excluded from a longer timeframe, as this happens when they have no impact per se.

If the total matches the total clicks in GSC, the distribution has been correctly made.
