The Keyword Vault of our Research module gives you access to monthly keyword data so you can pick the best keywords to improve your keyword strategy for your Tracked Campaigns, at no extra cost.

Choosing the best keywords to track is an important part of an SEO strategy. To identify which keywords to track, you need data to determine whether they are worth pursuing. Adding a large number of keywords to the rank tracker only to find the best ones, would get very expensive. But you might want to keep an eye on how they're performing – first analyze them over a period of time, and then pick the best ones to track daily based on their performance.

With our Keyword Vault, for a list of keywords, you get access to their current SERP, search, and ranking data (desktop only) and continued monthly updates so you can see how they are performing and decide if they are worth tracking daily and including in your keyword strategy.

Our Keyword Vault gives you the same data as our Rank Tracker for unlimited keywords, the difference being that the data is monthly instead of daily. And this is comes at no extra cost.

You begin by adding the keywords to a Keyword List manually or importing them through a CSV. You can also bring in keywords from Keyword Explorer. When you research relevant keywords for a topic, you can select keywords from the results and click on Save, to bring them to the Vault. This will only save them in the Vault, but not track them daily. You can see their monthly data and decide to track them only if you need to, with one click.

At a keyword list level, you can see the SERP and search volume data, Year-over-year trends, along with the % searches that end up clicking on organic results and the Visibility for desktop.

We update this data on a keyword level and on the keyword list level every month. You can see how fresh the data is by looking at the crawl date for each keyword. At any given time, the data is not older than 30 days.

With our Keyword Vault, you can not only perform keyword research, but also keep an eye on how your website is performing over time, on a larger pool of keywords. This improves your monthly reporting insights and helps you pick the best keywords to expand your strategy when needed.

Having access to a large list of keywords may be useful, but it is laborious to analyze. We want to give you a curated list of high-quality keywords as opposed to a larger exhaustive list. Also, to be able to provide data for any number of keywords, we must ensure that we don't create waste. To achieve this, we have a keyword qualification process in place that:

We fetch and update data only for qualified keywords, so you get a smaller, manageable list of high-quality keywords that are free of clutter, such as search volume duplicates, misspellings, and errors. This makes the Keyword Vault accurate and reliable.

We keep the frequency of updates monthly. This helps us provide you with all the data for the keywords you added to the Vault at no extra cost while also keeping our system lean and efficient.

Creating and managing multiple keyword lists helps you analyze the overall data to pick the best keywords to track. We keep the keyword lists in your Vault consistent and separate from your daily tracked keywords in the Rank Tracker, but we give you an option to directly add them to the Rank Tracker if you decide to track them daily.

While the Vault in the Research module gives you monthly updates on the data, the Rank Tracker gives you daily ranks for both devices, automatic labels, landing page change tracking, and all the data you need to start working on improving their rankings and measuring performance with the best accuracy and granularity.
